About Me
I’m Charlotte, one person on the mat, endlessly inspired by the practice, and grateful to share it with others.
I came to yoga looking for strength, flexibility, and a way to feel better in my body. What I found was a lifelong journey that continues to teach me about patience, presence, and the quiet power of consistency.
I’m not a guru or a wellness influencer. I’m a student of yoga philosophy, asana technique, and the subtle shifts that happen when we keep practicing. I believe yoga is for everyone, and that learning never really ends.
charlottesyogalife is my little corner of the internet to share reflections from the mat, insights from the heart, and all the imperfect, beautiful ways practice shows up in everyday life. Through my blog, The Long Exhale, I write about what I’m learning physically, mentally, and spiritually in the hope that it resonates with someone else navigating their own path.
Thanks for being here. Let’s keep learning, breathing, and growing together.
About The Long Exhale…
I truly believe yoga should be more than impressive shapes and fast-paced flows. While asana has its place, the heart of the practice lies in the deeper work, philosophy, breath, awareness, and the way we live. That’s what The Long Exhale is all about slowing down, tuning in, and creating space for reflection and integration. It’s a gentle invitation to shift the focus from performance to presence, and from doing to being. This blog was born out of a desire to offer something steady, nourishing and grounded. An inspiration to keep our practice rooted in real-life, not just what happens on the mat, but how we carry yoga with us through daily life.
This neutral digital space is less about me, and more about you. With each monthly post, you’ll receive simple, solid tools, accessible Yin yoga practices, guided meditations, and gentle journaling prompts that help you carry your yoga off the mat. You’ll be able to explore each theme through applied knowledge and personal insight, deepening and solidifying your own learning and enquiry in a meaningful way. I truly believe that this kind of practice and support should be available to all, so, the subscription is offered at a truly accessible price. The practices, worksheets and blogs are designed to fit into your busy schedule, so, you can reflect and reabsorb often.
